Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Effective September 3, 2026
Portagr does not sell your personal information for money, and never has. But some pages carry ads served by Google, and when those ads are personalised, information about your visit is passed to Google and its partners. California law calls that “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising, and gives you the right to stop it. Use the button below.
Checking your current setting…
This preference is stored in this browser. If you use another browser or device, or clear your site data, set it again there — or turn on Global Privacy Control, which we honour everywhere automatically.
What opting out does
- The Google AdSense code stops loading on your visits entirely — not just personalisation, the whole ad script.
- Google Analytics stops running, and no analytics identifier is assigned to your browser.
- Advertising and analytics consent signals are set to denied, so no advertising cookie is written.
What keeps working: signing in, your saved trips and routes, your reviews, and the map. Those rely on strictly necessary and functional storage, which is not sharing and is not affected.
Global Privacy Control
We recognise the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or an extension sends GPC, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for that browser automatically, and you do not need to use the button above.
Authorised agents and other requests
You may use an authorised agent to submit this request on your behalf; we may ask the agent for proof that you gave them permission. To exercise your other rights — to know what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, or to receive a portable copy — see Section 6 of our Privacy Policy, or delete your account yourself from your account page.
Questions about this page: portagradmin@gmail.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
